We first heard this song on ROBOTECH: New Generation

The original track features the character “Yellow Dancer”, who’s real name is Lt Lance Belmont, a pilot that was a part of the first attack wing that attempted to liberate the Earth from the Invid. Lt Lance Belmont took the name “Yellow Dancer” and passed himself off as a female singer to avoid capture by the Invid. In this episode the freedom fighters use Yellow Dancer’s performance as a cover for the freedom fighters to raid the protoculture storage. Yellow Dancer performs a song called “The Sky is Falling”
